شهد جنوب لبنان فجر اليوم حالة من التوتر الشديد عقب صدور تهديدات تدعو إلى إخلاء أكثر من ستين بلدة ومنطقة، ما أدى إلى حركة نزوح واسعة للأهالي باتجاه مدينة صيدا وعدد من المناطق المجاورة، بحثاً عن أماكن آمنة تؤمّن لهم الحماية والاستقرار المؤقت في ظل الظروف الراهنة.
واستجابةً لهذا الوضع الإنساني الطارئ، سارعت جمعية التنمية والتعاون إلى تفعيل خطة الطوارئ الخاصة بها، حيث عمل فريقها الميداني على تجهيز وفتح أبواب ثانوية الدكتور حكمة الصباغ في مدينة صيدا لاستقبال العائلات النازحة وتأمين المأوى المؤقت لها.
وقد استقبل المركز منذ ساعات الصباح الأولى أعداداً من العائلات التي وصلت تباعاً، حيث تم تنظيم عملية الاستقبال وتوفير الاحتياجات الأساسية، بما في ذلك أماكن الإيواء المؤقتة، والفرش، والمواد الغذائية، والمستلزمات الضرورية، وذلك بالتعاون مع متطوعين وأبناء المجتمع المحلي.
وأكدت الجمعية أنها تواصل متابعة التطورات الميدانية عن كثب، وتعمل على توسيع نطاق استجابتها بما يلبي الاحتياجات المتزايدة للنازحين، مشددة على التزامها الإنساني الثابت بدعم المتضررين وتقديم المساعدة العاجلة لهم.
كما دعت الجمعية الجهات الرسمية والمؤسسات الإنسانية وأصحاب الأيادي البيضاء إلى تعزيز جهود التضامن وتقديم الدعم اللازم لضمان استمرار الاستجابة الإنسانية وتخفيف معاناة العائلات النازحة.

Southern Lebanon witnessed heightened tension at dawn today following threats calling for the evacuation of more than sixty to
wns and villages, triggering a large-scale displacement of residents toward the city of Sidon and several surrounding areas in search of safety and temporary shelter amid the ongoing developments.
In response to this urgent humanitarian situation, the Development and Cooperation Association (DCA) immediately activated its emergency response plan. Field teams worked to prepare and open Dr. Hikma Al‑Sabagh Secondary School in Sidon as a temporary shelter to receive displaced families and provide them with safe accommodation.
Since the early morning hours, the center has welcomed families arriving in successive waves. Reception efforts were organized to ensure the provision of essential needs, including temporary bedding, food supplies, and basic necessities, in coordination with volunteers and members of the local community.
DCA affirmed that it continues to closely monitor field developments and is working to expand its response capacity to meet the growing needs of displaced families, reiterating its firm humanitarian commitment to supporting affected communities and delivering urgent assistance.
The Association also calls upon official bodies, humanitarian organizations, and donors to strengthen solidarity efforts and provide the necessary support to sustain the relief response and alleviate the suffering of displaced civilians.
