DCA and Muslim Scouts Celebrate Lebanese Independence Day with Displaced Families

Sidon, Lebanon – To commemorate Lebanese Independence Day, the Development and Cooperation Association (DCA) and the Muslim Scouts organized a special event at Al-Bazri School, aimed at supporting displaced families residing in the school. The event centered around the preparation of a traditional South Lebanese dish, “Hareese,” as a special tribute to this cherished national day.

A group of volunteers, alongside the displaced families, participated in the preparation of the dish, creating an atmosphere of cooperation and solidarity.

This event was more than just a meal; it symbolized social cohesion, bringing people together under the banner of unity and belonging. It served as a testament to the power of collective will and teamwork to create moments of warmth and hope, even in the face of the most challenging circumstances.
